| I remember when Xanga was the absolute coolest thing...it was the thing I would get on every day after school; now it is Facebook. But still, you can't write out your feelings, thoughts, and actions out on Facebook. That was the fun thing about Xanga- being able to just write whatever you were thinking. I got my Xanga like 4 years ago, when I was a sophomore in high school. Now I am a sophomore in college!!! Such a huge change and yet it does not seem that long ago, but at the same time it seems forever ago! Anyways, I am living in my first apartment now and growing up. I remember four years ago the most disappointing thing was when no one commented on your Xanga entries. How simple of a thing to get upset about, but it is much of the same as wanting to have the most friends on Myspace and plenty of wall comments on your Facebook. 19 is such a great age because it is an in-between age. I am still considered a teenager, but I am almost an adult as well. I can still be silly with my roommates and sorority sisters, but I also have the maturity to be serious and settled. It is quite enjoyable, but hard to contemplate that I am almost twenty because that sounds so old!!! Anywho, not really sure why I decided to check out the old Xanga again, but it is fun to look back on old entries.

| so im definitely enjoying my life right now...hanging out with friends, enjoying my life while im young, figuring out what i want with my life. just having a blast overall...making the best of milledgeville by being silly and staying up until 1 o'clock talking and up to 5 watching grey's anatomy. ive definitely found more of myself in college. ive become more comfortable with myself and more confident in who i want to become. im becoming more involved with my activites and meeting more people with different experiences. its awesome!
some people find themselves in high school and those are theyre wonder years, and whereas my friends from high school will always be my favorites, i have definitely blossomed in college. and the people i have met here have helped me a lot with that. some people that i thought were my friends showed their true colors and i have found who my real friends are, the ones that are going to stick around forever. to those of you guys still in high school, enjoy it cause you will miss your high school friends when you go off to college. but dont make your decisions on where you want to go by where other people are going, because college is all about you and your life and where you want to go with it. good luck to you all!!!
  kristina, rachel, and emily
